Whereabouts are you based?
How long have you been shooting cycling?
What appeals to you about photographing cycling?
Telling stories around races, capturing the peloton in landscapes, trying to photograph as much physical prowess and mental strength as I can.
What other areas of photography do you work in?
Other sports (tennis, running), portraits and documentary.
Please tell us a little bit about your style of photography.
I’m trying to take pictures that touch the viewer in any way: making them use their imagination about the context and atmosphere, and what happened before or after. Also, I’m a nature lover, so I definitely try to find the best composition between the peloton and the landscapes riders are passing through.
What assignments have you done for Rouleur this year?
Bernard Hinault portraits – a unique experience to meet this legend.
What are your plans for 2019?
To have as much fun and as many emotions as 2018!
